Song Fics
A Song Fic is any fic inspired by the lyrics of a song, title of a song or inspired by the sound of a song.
Back during my Highlander Fan Fic days someone once dared me to do a Song Fic using any Broadway Musical. They'd name the musical and the characters and I'd get to choose the song. Sounds easy right? My love of theater combined with my love of writing?
Well I turned it down. I was scared of who I'd have to work with and what musical. Then the other night as I was watching RENT, Kid & Lou started begging me. How could I say no? At least they let me choose the song, I just don't think I could have done La Vie Boeheme justice!
