End of Forever: Epilogue

Methos sat at the tree by the waterfall, as tears ran down his face when he felt the familiar buzz. "Silas."

"Brother, you remembered."

Methos hugged his old friend and smiled. "I could never forget you. What have you been up to this past year?"

"Traveling, thinking... How are you?"

"I've seen better days."

Silas sat down next to him. "Do you regret it?"

Methos nodded his head. "She gave her life for my freedom, when I'd rather have given mine. I risked my life for her, and in the end, the one thing I had that meant the most was gone. Just sitting here, I feel as if she's still with me."

"She'll always be with you, they all will."

"What went wrong with us? We were once the most feared men on this earth."

"We replaced brotherhood with power. Kronos wanted more than we were willing to give, he took more than we could give."

Methos nodded. "Times change brother. But no matter how long I live, the faces of those we massacred will haunt me."

"As well as those we loved and lost. But one thing will never change."

"What's that?"

"You will always be my brother."
